BIOGRAPHY
Kevin McDermott is the founder of Collective Intelligence and a principal in the scenario-planning firm Futures Strategy Group.
Working in countries around the world McDermott has served an international client portfolio that includes General Motors, IBM, Innosight, A.T. Kearney, Korn-Ferry, MasterCard Advisors, McKinsey & Co., OptionsGroup, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Spencer Stuart, United Way of America and financial-services startups.
McDermott spent the early part of his career as a reporter and editor covering international trade and economics as well as journalism from France for The Washington Post and Saveur, from England for The New York Times, and from Haiti for The Atlantic Monthly.
He lives in New York with his wife and two children.
